When someone is trafficked, they may be caught up in activities that put them in contact with law enforcement. Our partner, Survivor-Led Solutions, works tirelessly to re-educate partners in law enforcement to re-think the question, “What were you wearing?” It’s Not What You Wear. No one should care.

HOW
Survivors have long roads ahead of them, but our organization wants to help them begin new lives - not as jewelry makers or making other “slave-free goods” for companies that continue to exploit these victims, but as their own leaders - after all - who better to help survivors than survivors? In many places, however, not having a credential after your name is a detriment to being able to access institutions to conduct training.

That’s why Survivor-Led Solutions is building a new, comprehensive Leader-Trainer Curriculum leading to a Certificate in Survivor Training. Survivors with this certificate will be able to use their skills to educate law enforcement and work with victims to assist them with their goals. That’s where we come in.

Becoming aware is the first step; many stop here. We wanted to do more and really make a difference in the lives of those impacted.
